Keep in
Mind
While the maximum liquid absorption capacity determined by the Westing House Test is 280%, we provide a 330% absorption power in our litters, and while the accepted level of humidity in cat litter is 10%, we have only 8%. These two criteria mean the following: more affordable cat litter that is more effective, more hygienic and natural!
If you are tired of the dust that settles every time you fill or empty the litter box, read this section: Since all our litters are sifted twice, 99% less dust occurs. It is true that with a dust level of 0.5% we are far ahead of the others. Note: When emptying your cat litter, remember to keep it close to the litter box!
All our litters are produced hand-free and heat-treated to maximize hygiene. In other words, by kilning our litter at high temperatures, we both purify it from harmful bacteria and increase the absorption power of our litter.
Our 0.6 mm – 2.25 mm granule sized litters with odor trapping, fast clumping and minimum dusting do not stick to your cats’ paws and do not get a muddy consistency. A happy end for everyone!
But don’t worry, we also have litters with a large granule distribution designed for long-haired cats. Since it is produced with extra coarse grains (0.6-4.0 mm and 2.0 – 4.0 mm) for long-haired cats, it does not stick to the paws and litter particles are not scattered in your home after each toileting.
Everyone wants their cat litter to smell good, but what about cats? Maybe it has trouble even when going to the toilet just because of that fragrant litter and we don’t even know it… If you think your cat is extra sensitive to odors, you should choose one of our fragrance-free products.
G: This letter indicates that the cat litter has been enriched with active carbon to increase its odor-trapping properties.
Some cats, especially kittens, love to play with sand clumps. What you need to do for these little rascals is to choose products with a granule size of 0.6-4.0 mm and 0.6 – 1.60mm, which are very fine-grained and therefore have the highest absorption and clumping power.
Cats instinctively want to cover their droppings after they have satisfied their needs.
If your cat litter is less than 7 cm high, urine or feces may come into contact with the bottom of the litter box during this scooping and covering process. This can lead to unpleasant odors and make the litter box difficult to clean.
The increased odor may be due to the food your cat is eating. The use of wet food increases the odor. Also, if you feed home-cooked food to your cat, it can cause odor.
The amount of litter should be adjusted according to the size of the box. When 10L of litter is poured into a standard cat litter box, it reaches the ideal height. As the clumps are removed, the reduced litter should be replaced. Cat’s White 10kg cat litter corresponds to 11.6 L. Cat’s White scales are designed for ease of use. After pouring 10L into the box, the remaining 1.6L of litter is added when needed. Cat’s White cat litter is thoughtfully sized for economical and long-lasting use.
No special treatment is required for cleaning. Cat’s White cat litter is made of natural mineral. Warm water or water-based wet wipes can be used to remove dust.
Our litter is packaged by passing through a double sieving system and minimizing the dust. Pouring the sand into the container from a height causes dust generation due to friction. When pouring, keeping it as close to the box as possible will prevent dust formation.
It is not possible to produce 100% dust-free cat litter. However, Cat’s White cat litter is produced with a double sieving system to be 99.5% dust-free. Due to your sensitivity, we recommend using Cat’s White Natural ( fragrance-free) or Cat’s White Grey (with Active Carbon). Pouring your cat litter close to the box will reduce dusting. Using the product according to the instructions for use found on the packaging will increase your product satisfaction. We kindly ask you to share your experience with us after use.
Scented cat litter is made with fragrances used in cosmetics. Our usage amounts are far below the limit levels. The fragrances we use in our cat litter are controlled by obtaining up-to-date MSDS and analysis certificates. The scent will vary according to your and your cat’s preference.
Your choice of cat litter may vary depending on how your cat uses the litter you buy. For cats or kittens who like to dig in the litter, choosing cat litter with a fine grain distribution will be one of the best decisions. The W225 series is ideal for kittens and adult cats who like to play with litter. If you are sensitive about odor, G180 – G225 series of our (Gray) product with active carbon provides a solution to all kinds of odor problems.
Intensive use of cat litter means that the litter box will fill up quickly, which can make your cat uncomfortable and cause odors when not cleaned. Our Cat’s White product with Active Carbon will reduce your problems as its odor and liquid absorption capacity is higher than standard cat litter.
Our Cat’s White G180 series litters are ideal for kittens. Thanks to its fine structure, it creates a soft sensation of texture. It is suitable for kittens’ sensitive paws. It has very strong clump formation and high liquid absorption capacity. Apart from all this, the litter box is of particular importance for kittens. We recommend choosing a height at which it will be easy to get into.
For cats to get used to the litter and litter box, it is very important that they first come into contact with the litter. This is critical for your cat to understand that it can defecate in the litter box. Once you have introduced your cat to the litter, it is not recommended to move the litter box around the house too much. After your cat has used the litter box for the first time, the first thing you need to do is to choose a place in your home for the litter box, as that is the place where your cat can go to the toilet. Your cat should be able to access the litter box at any time. This will prevent your cat from defecating anywhere else in the house unless they have to, and not cause problems for you and your cat in terms of hygiene.
Deviating from the usual routine is never advisable for your pets, especially when it comes to food changes. Activities such as changing litter, changing food, changing the location of the litter box in the house should not be done unless there are rare or urgent situations. Cats are sensitive creatures and like to smell where they go to the toilet. The new litter you have bought may differ from your previous litter in terms of dust, and if you are using scented products, it may trigger the sneezing of your cat in the same way. A common misconception is that scented products are thought to be odorless. Because the fact that the odor of the products used does not bother you does not mean that it will not pose a problem for your cat.
Cats go to the toilet at different frequencies depending on their stage of maturity and juvenility. The number of cats in the household will also be an important factor for the frequency of cleaning your litter box. The recommended cleaning frequency is once a day. The purpose is to keep your litter clean and long-lasting. Over time, even cat litter that is cleaned daily can tend to become contaminated and experience a reduction in capacity. In terms of hygiene, it is also recommended that you change your litter completely at regular intervals.
Cat’s White cat litter has thought of this situation for you in advance and has produced cat litter products in 10 kg. Considering the density, 10 kg of Cat’s White actually corresponds to 11.8 liters. Your litter filling will vary according to your litter box and it is not recommended to buy less than 10 liters or 10 kg of product for your first filling. It will be more convenient to buy 5 kg products to replace your waste litter. When filling your litter box, paying attention to the 7 cm rule is another point you should pay attention to. You can find instructions for use on the back of the litter you purchase.
Cat litter needs to be cleaned frequently. The recommendations in this regard are determined as daily cleaning and this will protect both you and your cat in terms of health. Otherwise, it will become difficult to use cat litter and even cause litter to be scattered around the house. If you don’t clean your cat litter frequently, your litter will get dirtier and you will have to buy new litter as the efficiency of the litter will decrease. If you have trouble cleaning the product, you can try Grey cat litter, i.e. cat litter with Active Carbon, to get better performance. Our Grey products have stronger odor capacity, liquid absorption capacity and clumping capacity.
The priority when choosing a cat litter box is that it should be easy to clean. The right size should be chosen so that your cat can easily dig in the litter, move around and meet its toilet needs. You can use a sifted cat litter box or cat litter shovels that will make it easier for you to clean. The shape of your cat litter box can be determined according to your cat’s behavior.
If your cat is not sterile and has reached maturity, this is a common behavior to attract the opposite sex. When your cat feels ready, they can urinate in some corners of the house, more often where odors are intense. Another factor may be that your cat litter box is not being cleaned. Since cats like to cover their defecation after they have used the litter box, after a while, if the box is not cleaned daily, the cats will no longer defecate in the box because of these small clumps. The easiest way to remedy this is to clean your cat’s litter box daily and follow this process. We recommend that you follow the 7 cm rule when filling litter boxes and read the terms of use on the packaging of the litter brand you are using.
Bentonite cat litter is a product of clay minerals, and clay minerals have in common the ability to absorb water. Bentonite used for cat litter production has a high liquid absorption capacity. The average amount of urine your cat urinates in the litter box is about 25ml, and although this amount causes clumping for bentonite litter, it does not saturate it. Since the clumps you will remove from your litter box will not have reached liquid saturation, they will swell and cause serious damage over time, even if not immediately when they come into contact with water in the toilet. After cleaning the cat litter, it is advisable to dispose of it separately in a waste bag.
